Colvale Police have arrested Kabir Pradhan for allegedly stealing Rs1.85 crore from a residence in Thivim. Investigators said Pradhan reportedly exploited his friendship with the homeowner’s granddaughter to gain access to the property and commit the theft.
During the ongoing investigation, police recovered Rs7 lakh from the accused. Authorities are continuing their probe to trace the remaining amount and determine whether any accomplices were involved in the crime.
