Karimnagar, Telangana – A detailed police investigation into the suspicious death of 36-year-old car driver K. Suresh last month has revealed that he was allegedly murdered by his wife and five others, including her suspected lover.
On Thursday, the Karimnagar Two Town police arrested all six accused involved in the case. They were identified as K. Maunika (29), the wife of the deceased, A. Srija (32), P. Shivakrishna (27), D. Ajay (28), N. Sandhya (39), and N. Devadas (49), all residents of Karimnagar.
According to police officials, Maunika was in a relationship with Ajay and orchestrated her husband’s murder to eliminate him. Her initial attempt to poison Suresh by mixing Viagra and sleeping pills in his food failed when he refused to eat it.
In a second attempt, on September 17, 2025, Maunika allegedly served Suresh liquor laced with blood pressure and sleeping pills. Once he was intoxicated, she and her accomplices allegedly strangled him to death.
The murder plot, initially hidden under the guise of a natural death, was uncovered following a thorough forensic and criminal investigation.
All six accused are currently in police custody and will face legal proceedings.
