ONSLOW COUNTY, N.C. — A New Bern man is facing multiple felony and misdemeanor charges following his arrest by the Jacksonville Police Department, according to court records.
Justin Wade Wood, 40, was arrested on Sunday, Dec. 7, and charged with felony possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, contributing to the delinquency of a juvenile, and misdemeanor child abuse.
According to arrest warrants, Wood allegedly possessed drug paraphernalia, including cut straws, tin foil, and syringes, intended for use in ingesting a controlled substance. Court documents further allege that Wood’s two-year-old child was exposed to narcotics.
A magistrate set Wood’s bond at $10,000 secured on Dec. 7. He remains scheduled to answer the charges in Onslow County court.
