NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A man was arrested last weekend after being caught making a food delivery in a stolen car, authorities said.
Police were alerted via a license plate reader about a stolen vehicle on Lynwood Boulevard near Harding Place. When officers arrived at a home in the 600 block of Lynwood Boulevard, they saw a blue Ford Focus being driven.
The driver, 24-year-old Justin L. Wise, exited the car and delivered a DoorDash order before police blocked the vehicle and took him into custody.
Wise reportedly told officers that he obtained the vehicle from another individual. He was charged with theft of property valued at $2,500 or more.
Authorities noted that Wise had been arrested previously in February on another theft charge for allegedly stealing an iPhone 17 Pro Max from the Verizon store at the Bellevue One shopping center.
