AYDEN, NC — A local man has been arrested in connection with a domestic violence incident, according to court records.
Justin Keefe, 45, is facing misdemeanor charges of false imprisonment, assault on a female, and domestic violence following an incident on Friday, January 16.
Warrants allege that Keefe detained the victim without consent and grabbed their arms, preventing them from leaving a residence. Authorities also note that Keefe was cohabiting with the victim as a spouse at the time of the incident.
Keefe was taken to the Pitt County Detention Center. No bond information is currently available, and the case remains active and under investigation.
