KINSTON, N.C. — On Saturday, May 10, officers from the Kinston Police Department’s C-Squad responded to a request from the Beaufort Police Department to investigate a vehicle linked to an unauthorized use case.
Officers located the vehicle parked at Walmart, where they found two individuals, Justin Dixon, 37, of Newport, and Sierra Willis, 21, of Beaufort, asleep inside. Dixon was identified as the primary suspect in the Beaufort Police investigation.
Upon arresting Dixon for multiple outstanding warrants from Carteret County, officers discovered 10 grams of heroin on his person. A subsequent search of the vehicle uncovered methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia.
Dixon faces charges including two counts of trafficking heroin, possession of methamphetamine, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Willis was charged with possession of methamphetamine and possession of drug paraphernalia.
