Winona, Minn. (WXOW) – A major drug and weapons bust has led to the arrest of 38-year-old Justin John Dionysius in Winona, Minnesota.
On Thursday, May 1, around 11:00 a.m., the Winona County Sheriff’s Office and the Southeastern Violent Crimes Task Force (SEVCTF) executed a search warrant at a residence on the 600 block of E 2nd Street as part of an ongoing narcotics investigation.
Dionysius was taken into custody on multiple felony charges, including 1st, 3rd, and 5th degree drug possession, and possession of firearms and ammunition as a prohibited person.
Authorities seized a significant cache of drugs and assets during the raid:
6.68 pounds of methamphetamine
75.5 grams of cocaine
23 grams of amphetamine
47 doses of Suboxone
176 fentanyl pills
9.5 grams of heroin
2.5 grams of psilocybin mushrooms
70 assorted prescription pills
10 handguns
Over 200 rounds of ammunition
$148,286 in cash
2 oz. of gold, collectible coins, and Rolex watches
The estimated street value of the narcotics is approximately $95,000, according to investigators.
The case remains under investigation, and Dionysius faces a range of felony charges as law enforcement continues its crackdown on drug trafficking in southeastern Minnesota.
