Justin Bello Arrested in Ceres for Stolen Mercedes Theft

Probationer caught driving stolen Mercedes after high-risk stop

CERES, Calif. — A 40-year-old Ceres man was arrested Sunday evening after police found him driving a stolen vehicle.

At about 9:01 p.m., Officer Tyler Wilson responded to a report of a stolen silver Mercedes CLK430 from a residence in the 3800 block of Sherry Court. After searching the area, officers located the car around 10 p.m. in the 800 block of Latimer Avenue.

Police conducted a high-risk stop, removing Justin Bello, 40, from the vehicle at gunpoint. Bello, who was on probation for prior auto theft and evading police, was taken into custody without incident.

He now faces charges of:

Auto theft

Possession of a stolen vehicle

Probation violation

Bello was booked into the Stanislaus County Public Safety Center as the investigation continues.
