The jury found that the clinic engaged in fraudulent conduct, misdiagnosed the plaintiff, and administered invasive penile injections that caused irreversible damage.
The case, which set a national record for the largest jury award in a medical malpractice lawsuit, centered around allegations of fraud, negligence, and dangerous medical practices. The man, who was 66 years old at the time, sought treatment in 2017 for fatigue and weight loss but was instead treated with “invasive erectile dysfunction shots” after being misdiagnosed.
