Judge William Ashe Arrested for Felony Attempted Burglary in Camden Co.

Former Magistrate Judge and Two Others Face Burglary Charges

CAMDEN COUNTY, Ga. — Former Camden County magistrate judge William Ashe was arrested Wednesday on felony attempted burglary charges, following an investigation by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI).

The Camden County Sheriff’s Office (CCSO) announced that Ashe, along with Dennis Cox and Merina Watson, were taken into custody. All three suspects voluntarily turned themselves in to authorities.

William Ashe was booked into Camden County Jail, where his bond was set at $5,100.

The GBI and CCSO continue their investigation into the case.
