Lafourche Parish, LA — Jude Cantrelle Jr., 32, of Mathews, was arrested on multiple drug-related charges following an investigation by Lafourche Parish narcotics agents, according to Sheriff Craig Webre.
In July 2025, agents began looking into Cantrelle’s suspected involvement in illegal drug activity at his New Haven Street residence in Mathews. The investigation led to an arrest warrant for heroin distribution and a search warrant for his home.
With support from Louisiana State Probation and Parole, agents executed the search and discovered narcotics and drug paraphernalia on the premises. Cantrelle was later located and arrested in Terrebonne Parish with help from the Terrebonne Parish Sheriff’s Office and Louisiana State Police.
On August 19, 2025, Cantrelle was booked into the Lafourche Parish Correctional Complex on the original warrant, along with an additional contempt of court warrant. He now faces added charges for possession of a legend drug without a prescription and possession of drug paraphernalia. His bail is set at $125,000, and he is also being held for Louisiana Probation and Parole due to a parole violation.
