ANDERSON COUNTY, S.C. (FOX Carolina) – The Anderson County Sheriff’s Office has arrested 37-year-old Joy McCurry for drug trafficking and driving with a suspended license.
Deputies discovered McCurry driving a silver Chrysler with a suspended license. Initially, McCurry gave a false name, stating she was “Ashley,” but later admitted to her real identity.
During the traffic stop, deputies found a red bag containing a white tube with crack cocaine, along with at least four bags of drug paraphernalia and additional cocaine.
McCurry was arrested on charges of trafficking cocaine and driving under suspension. She was booked into the Anderson County Detention Center, and authorities seized more than 11 grams of drugs during the search.
