MADISONVILLE, Ky. — A routine traffic stop led to a drug arrest Saturday night on Sugg Street, according to Madisonville Police.
Authorities said the passenger, 23-year-old Josie Crafton, initially resisted leaving the vehicle but later admitted she was hiding drugs.
Officers reportedly recovered two large bags of methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia, including needles from the car.
Crafton was charged with meth trafficking and possession of a controlled substance. Police did not release information about her bond or court date.
