LINCOLN, Neb. — Two individuals were arrested Monday night following a traffic stop in Lincoln that led to the discovery of crack and powder cocaine.
According to the Lincoln Police Department, officers pulled over a vehicle and observed a bag being thrown out of the window as the car came to a stop.
Police recovered the bag, which contained:
19 grams of crack cocaine
12 grams of powder cocaine
The driver was identified as 47-year-old Joshua Withee, and the passenger as 34-year-old Amanda Bergeron. Both were immediately taken into custody.
Amanda Bergeron has been charged with:
Three counts of possession with intent to deliver
Conspiracy
Obstruction of a police officer
Joshua Withee faces the same charges, along with an additional charge of driving with a suspended license.
The case remains under investigation.
