WARNER, Okla. — A man has been charged in connection with a homicide in Warner, Oklahoma, according to the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation (OSBI).
Authorities responded to reports of a deceased individual near Third Street and Fifth Street, where they discovered the body of 51-year-old Jesse Martin. Investigators confirmed that his injuries were consistent with a homicide.
Through the investigation, OSBI agents and Warner Police identified 39-year-old Joshua Waisner as a suspect. Officials say Waisner had an altercation with Martin around the time of his death.
Waisner has been charged by the Muskogee County District Attorney’s Office with second-degree murder and destruction of evidence. The investigation remains ongoing.
