NORTH BAY, ONTARIO — The North Bay Police Service has arrested and charged three individuals following a robbery that occurred on June 24.
According to police, the victim was lured to a secluded area off Lakeshore Drive, where he was assaulted and robbed of his belongings. Officers responded promptly and arrested the primary suspect shortly after the incident. Further investigation led to the identification and arrest of two co-accused.
Subsequent searches revealed illegal substances, resulting in additional charges of possession of a Schedule I substance for both co-accused. Police confirmed that all individuals involved were known to each other.
“Our officers acted quickly and effectively to bring this case to resolution,” said Inspector Scott McFarlane of the North Bay Police Service. “Coordinated efforts led to all three arrests in efforts to ensure the safety of our community.”

Joshua Nicol, 40, of North Bay
Charge: Robbery
Kenneth Olafson, 35, of North Bay
Charges: Robbery, Possession of a Schedule I Substance
Zoe Gates-Healey, 27, of North Bay
Charges: Robbery, Possession of a Schedule I Substance
All three suspects were held for a bail hearing following their arrests.
