Two Men Charged with Theft After Unauthorized Debit Card Transactions

SANFORD, FL — Two Sanford men were arrested on July 20 and charged with theft and unauthorized use of a debit card in transactions totaling $6,116.

Joshua Todd Motes, 37, residing on Simpson Drive, and Neil Thomas Garrett, 46, from Buffalo Creek Road, face multiple charges related to the incident.

The arrests come after authorities investigated the debit card fraud, which involved several unauthorized transactions made with the stolen card.
