Joshua Brougham Sentenced to Over 3 Years for Armed Bank Robbery

Maine man sentenced after robbing Camden National Bank in 2022

BANGOR, Maine (WABI) – A 39-year-old man from Manchester, Maine, was sentenced to 3 years and 8 months in prison for an armed bank robbery he committed in October 2022.

According to the Department of Justice, Joshua Brougham entered Camden National Bank on Armory Street in Augusta while wearing a brimmed hat and hospital mask. Brougham pointed a gun at the teller and demanded all the money in the drawer.

Brougham was arrested four days later at a convenience store in Augusta by local police. He pleaded guilty to the charges in April 2025.

In addition to his prison sentence, Brougham was ordered to pay restitution for the $1,100 he stole during the robbery.
