On Tuesday, officers responded to a report of a stolen vehicle in the 800 block of State Street, identifying Joseph Walker as the suspect.

The following day, Warrick County law enforcement agencies were alerted to a stolen vehicle from Illinois, suspected to be in the area. Authorities traced the vehicle to the 5700 block of Kenwood Drive, where Walker was reportedly seen leaving his apartment. He was arrested shortly after.

Walker was booked into the Warrick County Jail on charges of two counts of auto theft and will also be held on two outstanding warrants from Vanderburgh County.
