Andersen Air Force Base, Guam — A civilian employee at Andersen Air Force Base, 63-year-old Joseph Pangelinan, has been arrested after being caught allegedly stealing from a service member’s work desk. Pangelinan now faces charges of burglary, theft of property, and criminal trespass.

According to court documents, the victim had installed a ring camera in response to a series of thefts at his office. On Sunday, the camera recorded Pangelinan rummaging through the victim’s desk. The victim used the footage to instruct Pangelinan to leave the area. It is also claimed that money was taken from the desk.

Authorities confirmed that Pangelinan was not authorized to be in the squadron office. After his arrest, he declined to speak with officers.
