Joseph Kemp Sr. and Jr. Arrested in Killian for Poly-Drug Trafficking

Over 60 grams of meth and fentanyl seized from Louisiana Highway 22 home

KILLIAN, La. – Deputies arrested Joseph “Abe” Kemp, Sr., 60, and Joseph Kemp, Jr., 29, following a significant drug seizure at their residence on Louisiana Highway 22. Authorities described the pair as “poly-drug traffickers” after recovering multiple narcotics and firearms.

The search yielded over 60 grams of methamphetamine, approximately 19 grams of crack cocaine, around 9.5 grams of cocaine, about 8.5 grams of fentanyl powder, and 32 fentanyl pills disguised as oxycodone, among other controlled substances.

Both men were booked on multiple charges including possession with intent to distribute various drugs. Deputies indicated that additional arrests related to the investigation are expected.
