MILTON, Iowa — A 57-year-old man from rural Milton has been arrested and charged in connection with two sex-related crimes, according to the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office.
Joseph Brandenberger was taken into custody at 3 p.m. on Wednesday. He is facing charges of:
Second-degree sexual abuse
Third-degree sexual abuse
The case was the result of a joint investigation by the Van Buren County Sheriff’s Office and the Iowa Division of Criminal Investigation (DCI).
