ATLANTA, Ga. (Atlanta News First) – A man labeled as “armed and dangerous” has been captured in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred at a DeKalb County apartment complex.
Brookhaven police confirmed that officers responded to a shooting early Sunday around 2:45 a.m. at the Carmel Creek Apartments on Buford Highway. Upon arrival, they discovered a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The victim, identified as Herrardo Cruz Cortez, later succumbed to his injuries.
