The Lyon County Sheriff’s Office Sex Offender Task Force recently uncovered a Tier III sex offender in violation of registration requirements during routine compliance checks.
28-year-old Jorge Medrano, a resident of Fernley, was found to have failed to meet his obligations as a registered sex offender. Following the discovery, Medrano was arrested and taken to Lyon County Jail on a felony charge for violating sex offender registration rules.
