BROOKSVILLE, Fla. — Jordan Williams, 28, a youth leader at VineLife Church in Brooksville, was arrested Friday on multiple counts of child pornography possession, according to the Hernando County Sheriff’s Office.
Williams faces 35 counts of possessing child pornography, one count of possessing a child-like sex doll, and one count of unlawful use of a two-way communication device. The National Center for Missing and Exploited Children initially flagged the case on July 4, which led to a joint investigation with local authorities.
Following the investigation, deputies obtained a search warrant for a home on Argyll Drive in Spring Hill, where they encountered Williams. During the search, authorities found evidence linked to the charges, including a child-like sex doll. When confronted, Williams described the doll as “a cheaper sex toy.”
Williams confirmed ownership of the online account used to access and view child pornography, which was reportedly done through a popular social media platform.
The VineLife Church released a statement following the arrest, emphasizing that Williams was a volunteer, not an employee, and that the church maintains strict safety policies, including background checks, security cameras, and supervision rules to protect minors.
“We are cooperating fully with law enforcement and are deeply saddened by this situation,” said church officials.
Williams is currently being held without bond, and the investigation remains ongoing.
