YOUNG COUNTY (KFDX/KJTL) — A routine traffic stop in Young County turned into a major drug bust for Olney Police and resulted in the arrest of Jordan Michael Grayson, 31, a man with an extensive criminal background.
On Sunday, September 14, 2025, officers stopped a speeding vehicle that had failed to stop at several stop signs. During the traffic stop, police developed probable cause to search the vehicle.
The search uncovered a large quantity of illegal substances and contraband, including 123 grams of THC products, 46 grams of cocaine, 67 grams of methamphetamine, 13 grams of Xanax, 5 ounces of marijuana, a firearm, and $1,303 in cash.
Grayson faces multiple charges including manufacture or delivery of controlled substances, unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon, possession of marijuana, and evading arrest in a vehicle.
Authorities stated that although Grayson’s bonds total $185,000, he will be sent to federal prison as he was serving a 10-year deferred adjudication from a May plea deal related to promoting the prostitution of a minor.
