Jordan Grey Clark Arrested for Vandalizing Jesus Statue in Flint Church

FLINT, Texas — Jordan Grey Clark, 36, was arrested for vandalizing a marble Jesus statue at St. Mary Magdalene Catholic Church, local authorities confirmed.

Security camera footage captured the moment when the statue’s hands and nose were broken off in an act of criminal mischief. According to the Smith County Sheriff’s Office, Clark was taken into custody Thursday at his residence on FM 2493 with assistance from the Smith County SWAT team.

Clark is currently being held at the Smith County Jail on a $400,000 bond as the investigation continues.
