CREOLA, Ala. (WALA) – A man was arrested in Creola after authorities found fentanyl pills and marijuana in his possession following a public intoxication incident.
According to the Creola Police Department, officers responded to a Chevron Gas Station to assist with a person showing signs of impairment.
After detaining the suspect for public intoxication, police searched him and discovered fentanyl pills along with a small amount of marijuana.
The suspect, identified as Jordan Etheredge, 21, was arrested and charged with:
Possession of a controlled substance (fentanyl)
Second-degree marijuana possession
Public intoxication
Etheredge was booked into jail following his arrest. Authorities have not released additional details regarding his court appearance.
