ASHEVILLE, N.C. — Jonathan Lee Suttles, 31, was arrested Sunday after officers responded to a loud noise complaint at the Pisgah View Apartment complex in west Asheville.
Officers arrived around 8:41 p.m. and attempted to contact Suttles, who tried to flee through the back door where another officer was waiting.
Authorities found Suttles in possession of trafficking amounts of fentanyl and methamphetamine.
Police seized seven grams of fentanyl and 10 grams of meth during the arrest.
Suttles was booked into the Buncombe County Detention Facility with a total bond set at $100,000.
He faces multiple felony charges including:
Trafficking opium or heroin
Two counts of second-degree felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver controlled substances
Felony possession with intent to manufacture, sell, or deliver within 1,000 feet of a school and park
Possession of drug paraphernalia
