Jonathan Burks Arrested for Fentanyl Possession in Kinston

Pink Hill man charged with fentanyl possession and stolen property

A traffic stop by the Kinston Police Department’s D-Squad led to the arrest of Jonathan Burks, 33, from Pink Hill. The stop occurred on Thursday, December 19, at around 1:21 p.m. on the 400 Block of E New Bern Road, prompted by a stolen registration plate.

During the stop, authorities discovered Burks was in possession of fentanyl and stolen property. He was immediately taken into custody and is currently being held at the Lenoir County Jail with a secured bond.

Possession of Stolen Property
Possession of Fentanyl
