LA CROSSE, Wis. (WXOW) — Jonah Larson, a local figure celebrated for his extraordinary crocheting talent, is now facing serious legal charges in La Crosse County.
Larson is currently being held in the La Crosse County Jail on charges of False Imprisonment and Sexual Intercourse with a Person Under Age 16 With Force.
Known as a “crocheting prodigy,” Larson previously gained national attention for his talent, appearing on shows like Good Morning America and earning the Gloria Barron Prize for Young Heroes, which included a $10,000 award.
His next court appearance has been rescheduled for Thursday, July 23, as investigations continue. Local station 19 News has stated it will provide further updates as more information becomes available.
