NETAWAKA, Kan. — Jackson County authorities arrested Jon Edward Jessepe, 35, of Mayetta, this week following a vehicle incident near Netawaka, officials confirmed Thursday morning.
A sheriff’s deputy responded at approximately 5:30 p.m. Tuesday to Q.4 Road, just south of 286th Road—about a mile south of Netawaka—after reports that a vehicle had driven into a ditch. Upon arrival, the deputy noted that the driver appeared to be intoxicated.
Sheriff Tim Morse announced that Jessepe was arrested and booked into the Jackson County Jail in Holton. He faces multiple charges including felony possession of a hallucinogenic drug with prior convictions, possession of tetrahydrocannabinol (THC), possession of drug paraphernalia, driving under the influence (DUI), and driving without vehicle insurance.
