MERIDEN, CT (WFSB) — Three men face multiple drug charges following a police investigation into narcotics activity at the Comfort Inn on East Main Street in Meriden.

Authorities identified the suspects as Jomar Garcia of New Haven, Hector Serrano of West Hartford, and Gaki Flowers of Hartford.

During the fall of 2025, Meriden detectives investigated reports of drug activity at the inn, a location previously linked to similar complaints. On October 30, officers conducted surveillance in the hotel parking lot and observed behavior consistent with street-level drug dealing.

Detectives approached a red Infiniti involved in a suspected drug transaction. When officers moved in, the driver tried to flee but was quickly stopped.

Police recovered about 14.48 grams of fentanyl, 12.59 grams of cocaine, 5 ounces of marijuana, and 9.78 grams of crack cocaine, all packaged for sale.

Garcia was charged with possession of narcotics and intent to sell, held on a $250,000 bond. Serrano faced additional charges, including interfering with police and misuse of plates, and was held on a $350,000 bond. Flowers was charged with possession, paraphernalia, and operating a drug factory, also held on a $350,000 bond.
