Seaford, DE – Delaware State Police have arrested 23-year-old Johnathan Dugazon of Seaford, Delaware, in connection with a fatal shooting that occurred earlier this month at Nutter Park.
On March 12, 2025, at approximately 4:24 p.m., officers responded to a shooting at 712 Collins Avenue. When they arrived, they found 23-year-old Schweitzer Dessin suffering from gunshot wounds. Despite life-saving efforts, Dessin was transported to a nearby hospital, where he later died from his injuries.
Three other men, ages 19, 21, and 23, self-transported to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries related to the shooting. Due to the severity of the case, Seaford Police requested assistance from Delaware State Police Homicide Detectives.
Following an investigation, detectives identified Dugazon as a suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest. On March 24, 2025, Seaford Police arrested Dugazon without incident.

Noncompliance With Conditions of Recognizance Bond (Felony) – 2 counts
Dugazon was arraigned at Justice of the Peace Court 2 and is currently being held at Sussex Correctional Institution on a $2,156,000 cash bond.
