COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) — A man with multiple previous convictions for motor vehicle theft was arrested on Wednesday following a police chase.
The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to a report of a stolen white 2001 Dodge 2500 Ram pickup truck taken from the 200 block of 12th Street on September 1.
When officers attempted to stop the vehicle, it sped away. Detectives later tracked the truck to an alley near East St. Vrain Street and Tijuana Street. With help from the Tactical Enforcement Unit, officers successfully blocked the vehicle.

Authorities noted Rosa has been convicted of several vehicle thefts across multiple states and currently has an outstanding felony arrest warrant for introduction of dangerous drugs into a detention facility and second-degree assault on a peace officer while in custody.
The passenger, 42-year-old Twila Green, was also taken into custody on a misdemeanor warrant.
