Jodan Bellmar Arrested in Owensboro W. 5th St. Shooting

Fourth suspect charged in April 4 shooting incident

OWENSBORO, Ky. (WFIE) – A fourth suspect has been arrested in connection with the April 4 shooting on W. 5th Street in Owensboro that left two people injured.

19-year-old Jodan Bellmar was taken into custody Monday following an interview with detectives. He now faces a charge of 1st-degree assault and is being held at the Daviess County Jail without bond.

Bellmar’s arrest follows the detainment of Ray Tallent, Isaiah Jackson, and a juvenile whose identity has not been released due to their age.

The investigation remains ongoing as police continue piecing together the events that led to the shooting.
