Two Arrested in Major Grand Forks Drug Trafficking Operation
GRAND FORKS, ND – A coordinated effort by the Grand Forks Narcotics Task Force has led to the arrest of Jesus Perez and Erika Perez on multiple drug trafficking charges involving fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana.
On July 24, officers executed two search warrants as part of a narcotics investigation.
The first warrant was served at 908 South 18th Street, where investigators discovered:
13.9 grams of cocaine
7.3 grams of fentanyl
555.03 grams of THC edibles
25 THC vape cartridges
47.7 grams of marijuana
A digital scale with residue
$3,437 in cash
The second search took place at a known stash house at 1507 6th Avenue North. There, police recovered:
131 grams of methamphetamine
3.9 pounds of marijuana
29 THC vape cartridges
Authorities say surveillance footage showed Erika Perez giving rides to Jesus Perez to and from the stash house to obtain and distribute narcotics.
Jesus Perez now faces:
Four charges of Possession with Intent to Deliver or Manufacture
One charge of Fentanyl Possession
Erika Perez is charged with:
Four counts of Conspiracy to Possess with Intent to Deliver or Manufacture
According to court records, Jesus Perez has a criminal history in Grand Forks that includes prior convictions for possession with intent to deliver meth and marijuana, and for delivery of cocaine.
Both individuals are in custody, and the case remains under investigation.
