A search warrant executed in Bridgeport on February 18 led to the arrest of three individuals following an investigation into fentanyl and crack cocaine distribution, state police said.
Authorities raided a home on Noble Avenue, where they found 29-year-old Jesus Alber Brito-Encarnacion acting as a lookout in an alley. He was detained with two wax folds containing a white powdery substance and a two-way portable radio.
Inside the basement, police arrested 42-year-old Jennyfer Lopez-Morales and 37-year-old Daniel Rivera-Serrano. During the search, detectives seized 48 grams of suspected crack cocaine, 21.6 grams of suspected fentanyl, $2,507 in cash, and another two-way radio. Lopez-Morales was also found with 1.9 grams of suspected crack cocaine.
All three were charged with:
Conspiracy to commit/operation of a drug factory
Operation of a drug factory
Conspiracy to commit/possession of narcotics with intent to sell
Possession of narcotics with intent to sell
Illegal drug manufacturing and distribution
Additionally, Rivera-Serrano faced two counts of failure to appear due to outstanding arrest warrants.
Each suspect received a $100,000 non-surety bond and is scheduled to appear in court next month.
