Jessica Spruill Charged with Lenoir Fuel Warehouse Theft

Dudley woman faces felony larceny and false pretenses

LENOIR COUNTY, NC — A fuel warehouse employee has been charged with felony theft after allegedly stealing from her employer.

On December 2, 2025, the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office responded to a fuel warehouse at 1101 W. New Bern Road following a report of missing funds. Deputies reviewed surveillance footage and determined that an employee had unlawfully removed $2,289.01 from a money bag.

The suspect, Jessica Ellen Spruill, 49, of Dudley, NC, was issued warrants on December 5 by the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for felony larceny by an employee and felony obtaining property by false pretenses. Spruill was released on a $6,000 unsecured bond.
