Jesse Parra, Fermin Gonzalez Arrested in Tool Theft Case

Vehicle burglary outside Runge leads to two arrests

KARNES COUNTY, TX – June 16, 2025 — Two men from Karnes County are facing charges in connection with a vehicle burglary reported early Monday morning near Runge, according to the Karnes County Sheriff’s Office (KCSO).

Deputies responded to a call regarding a vehicle burglary off County Road 323, where the victim reported a large quantity of tools had been stolen.

Following a joint investigation by the KCSO Patrol and Criminal Investigations divisions, Jesse G. Parra of Karnes City was identified as the suspect who allegedly entered the vehicle and stole the tools.

Investigators say Parra later passed the stolen property to Fermin Gonzalez of Runge, who was allegedly aware the items were illegally obtained.

Deputies located Gonzalez and successfully recovered the stolen tools.

Parra was arrested and charged with Burglary of a Vehicle

Gonzalez was charged with Theft of Property valued between $2,500 and $30,000

Both men were booked into the KCSO Jail and have since completed magistration proceedings.
