ST. LOUIS — Jerry Massey, a 33-year-old man from St. Louis County, has been sentenced to 15 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to multiple drug trafficking charges, including the distribution of methamphetamine, fentanyl, heroin, and cocaine.
Massey admitted to arranging and conducting illegal drug sales to undercover agents from the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA) between January and March 2024. These transactions occurred across St. Louis City, St. Louis County, and parts of Illinois.
According to court documents, Massey coordinated at least seven drug deals between Jan. 18 and March 14, 2024. On March 27, DEA agents executed a court-approved search of Massey’s home, uncovering a large sum of cash and 29 fentanyl-laced pills.
Massey pleaded guilty to the following federal charges:
Five counts of distributing meth and fentanyl
One count of conspiracy to distribute and possess with intent to distribute meth and fentanyl
One count of possession with intent to distribute fentanyl
One count of distributing meth and heroin
The investigation also led to charges against four others:
Darrion Dardon, 32 – Sentenced to 84 months
Darius Smith, 31 – Sentenced to 96 months
Ronald Finney, 32 – Awaiting sentencing
Michael Davis, 34 – Awaiting sentencing
The case underscores the DEA’s ongoing efforts to combat large-scale drug trafficking operations throughout Missouri and Illinois.
