HARRIS COUNTY, Ga. — Harris County Sheriff’s Office investigators have arrested a Columbus man in connection with a theft of $15,000 worth of tools from a Waverly Hall business.
Deputies began their investigation on December 8, 2025, after the business reported the stolen tools to authorities. Following a probe by the Criminal Investigations Division, 34-year-old Jerry Lee Nestor was arrested on December 12, 2025.
Nestor faces three felony charges: theft by taking, possession of a controlled substance, and a parole violation. He is currently booked at the Harris County Jail awaiting his first court appearance.
The investigation remains ongoing as authorities continue to review the case.
