LUBBOCK, Texas (KCBD) — Two men are in custody following a Lubbock Police Department (LPD) investigation into stolen vehicles tied to Cantu Towing.

LPD officers served an arrest warrant Thursday afternoon to Jerry Cantu, 45, the owner of Cantu Wrecker, in the 3500 block of Avenue Q. During the arrest, Cantu was charged with theft and possession of a controlled substance. He also received citations for illegal parking and failure to show proof of a rabies vaccination for a pet.

Joshua Vidales, 29, was also arrested at the scene on a citation hold related to lack of liability insurance.
