Jermaine Richardson Charged in Dollar General Theft

Newark man accused of stealing $73 in merchandise

LYONS, N.Y. — A Newark man was arrested Sunday evening after allegedly shoplifting from a Dollar General store in Lyons.

According to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office, Jermaine J. Richardson, 49, was charged with petit larceny for stealing $73.82 worth of merchandise from the Dollar General on State Route 31.

Deputies conducted an investigation at the scene, which led to Richardson’s arrest. He was taken to the Sheriff’s Office for processing and later released with an appearance ticket.

Richardson is scheduled to appear in Lyons Town Court on October 21 at 8:30 a.m.
