Jeremy Fox Arrested for Theft of 21 Semi Tires in Hillsdale

Suspect found hiding under trailer floor after tire theft

by Amelia Crawford

HILLSDALE, WY — A Hillsdale man was arrested last week after allegedly stealing 21 semi tires from Fat Boys Tires on East Allison Road, according to the Laramie County Sheriff’s Office.

The theft was reported on August 20 when deputies responded to a larceny call. Surveillance footage captured the entire incident — including a clear view of the suspect’s license plate.

The plate number was traced to Jeremy Fox, who was found at a property where deputies observed a large stack of tires outside a workshop. A search warrant was obtained, and deputies discovered Fox hiding beneath the floor of a trailer using a concealed hatch.

After initially refusing to surrender, Fox complied when deputies activated a Taser 10 device. He was taken into custody without further resistance.

All 21 stolen semi tires were recovered from the property. A Fat Boys employee also identified additional wheels and tires believed to have been stolen from the East Lincolnway Fat Boys location.

The case is under further investigation and more charges could follow.
