Suspect nearly hit two officers while fleeing the scene

SCOTTSDALE, AZ — A man is facing serious charges after allegedly stealing thousands of dollars worth of items from a Scottsdale home and fleeing police, nearly hitting two officers in the process.

Jeremy Dykstra, 31, is accused of breaking into a home and stealing high-value belongings before trying to escape from law enforcement. During the attempted arrest, Dykstra reportedly drove off at high speed, narrowly missing two officers in his path.

Authorities are continuing their investigation, and charges are expected to include felony theft, fleeing police, and endangerment of law enforcement officers.
