A 48-year-old man from Pekin, Indiana, has been arrested after being found in possession of child sex abuse material, according to Indiana State Police (ISP).
The investigation into Jerame Jan Hall began in January, after the Bay County Sheriff’s Department in Florida forwarded cyber tips to ISP from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The tips indicated a potential suspect in Indiana, prompting an investigation by detectives in Sellersburg.
Following their probe, investigators identified Hall as the suspect and, on Monday, executed a search warrant at his home in southern Indiana. Hall was arrested without incident and taken into custody.
He has been booked into the Washington County Jail, facing two preliminary charges of possession of child sex abuse material. Additional charges are pending as the investigation continues.
