WEST HARTFORD, CT (WFSB) – Jennifer McAdam, 43, a volunteer for the Wolcott Elementary School Parent-Teacher Organization (PTO), was arrested on charges of misusing the organization’s funds.
Police said that on November 21, 2024, PTO members discovered financial irregularities within the organization’s accounts, prompting an investigation by West Hartford detectives.
After further investigation, detectives obtained an arrest warrant for McAdam, who was subsequently arrested on March 12, 2025.
She has been charged with second-degree larceny and illegal use of a payment card. McAdam posted a bond of $25,000 and was given a court date of March 20, 2025, in Hartford.
