Longueuil, Quebec — Longueuil police (SPAL) have arrested two 21-year-old men, Jeffrey Beauchemin and Mathieu Desrosiers, in connection with a sexual exploitation and drug trafficking investigation.

The pair is also facing potential charges for extortion and sexual assault involving adult women, according to a statement released by SPAL.

The arrests come after several reports of exploitation, including allegations of pimping, obtaining material benefit, and advertising sexual services that reportedly took place between Longueuil and Quebec City over the last four years.

Police say the suspects used social media platforms under fake identities to lure victims.

Authorities also executed a search warrant at a Longueuil residence tied to the case.

As the investigation continues, police are urging the public to come forward with any information or to help identify potential additional victims across Quebec.
