Jeanie Whitlatch Gets Probation for Stealing Booster Funds

Ex-Treasurer Took Over $5,700 From Centralia Band Club

A Boone County woman who admitted to stealing from the Centralia High School Band Boosters has been sentenced to probation.

Jeanie Marie Whitlatch pleaded guilty to misdemeanor stealing on Monday and received a two-year probation sentence, according to court records. If she violates the terms of her probation, she faces 30 days in jail.

Whitlatch, who served as treasurer for the band booster club, was originally charged in August 2024 with a Class D felony. According to court documents, she stole over $5,700 from the booster club’s bank account.

Investigators said she used the funds to pay herself through CashApp and cover personal expenses including Doordash, Amazon Prime, and utility bills.
